For the last few thousand years, death has been a very simple matter. Upon expiry, your avails would be divvied up co-ordinate to your will. At no point will your executor gain admission to these accounts or whatsoever private letters therein.

Things get slightly messier with Twitter, which volition provide a copy of all your public tweets and then shut your account. When you report a decease to Facebook, the account is "memorialized," which prevents anyone from ever logging in to the account just allows friends to continue commenting.
